Extremely few cities in the world have a holiday that celebrates flowers, and those rare species that, despite winter and cold, manage to bloom when no other plant can.

This rare flower-tree as we know it is the strange Mimosa, but no less beautiful is the Camellia, which also blooms in February. To this day, it has not been established for what reason Mimosa only survives and is most widespread in Herceg-Novi, where we can find it yellow and flying high in the gardens and slopes of local towns on the Riviera.

Strong and proud, in the most merciless winter period it smells and creates a magical atmosphere known to all guests from Europe and the world who had the opportunity to stay in February and March in our city. Come and experience this unusual winter feeling and enjoy the flowers that bud and bloom during the coldest season. The "47 Mimosa Festival" festival started on February 5 and will last until February 25 in Herceg-Novi.
