From 6-30. An exhibition by Aleksandar Đuravčević will be opened in November in Petrović Castle in Podgorica. The exhibition will be opened by Prince Nikola Petrović Njegoš.
Artist Aleksandar Đuravčević creates works from ordinary objects with amazing energy, turning everyday things into primeval memory prints where what we have is, above all, a ruin. We live in a catastrophic time, oppressed by the banal, in need of art that is more than a mere reflection of disillusionment or contextual cynicism. Aleksandar Đuravčević, an artist who uses different languages and art procedures, as the author of sharp poetry, creates with an interest in memory, the fragility of life, the secret of beauty, the power of myth and the inevitability of death, forcing us to face essential questions in a pluralistic style that reveals a fondness for simplicity but which, at the same time, has great symbolic power.
