Durmitor National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in northern Montenegro, home to the dramatic 2,522-metre Bobotov Kuk peak and 18 glacial lakes, including the iconic Black Lake. The park offers world-class hiking in summer and skiing at Savin Kuk in winter. Below its rugged limestone massif lies the Tara Canyon, Europe's deepest gorge. Durmitor's pristine alpine landscapes, dense pine forests, and mountain meadows make it one of the most spectacular natural destinations in the Balkans.
