Njeguši is a mountain village perched between Mount Lovćen and the Bay of Kotor, renowned as the birthplace of the Petrović-Njegoš dynasty that ruled Montenegro for centuries. The village is equally famous for its culinary traditions, producing Montenegro's finest smoked ham (njeguški pršut) and handmade cheese, cured in the mountain air.
